Samantha Lavin, writes from Charlottesville where she attends the University of Virginia. "I have been riding since I was 7, and I started training with Pam at age 14." "Pam has guided me through all levels of competitive riding - Pony and Children's, Junior and Equitation - and now in the Amateur Owner Divisions." She goes on to say, "Pam, my sister Vanessa, and I have brought our horse Chateau ("Charlie") along since he was just a colt." Riding Chateau as a Junior, Samantha won the VHSA Horsemanship Championship and was named VHSA Junior Exhibitor of the Year in 2002. Reflecting on her years of riding, Samantha concludes by saying, "Pam has been one of the most influential people in my life - well beyond her role as teacher and trainer." Samantha will graduate in 2006 with a Degree in Economics.
