Rachel WebsterNow 16 and a rising Junior at Hanover High School in Mechanicsville, VA, Rachel began riding at the age of 10 at a local show barn.  She got her first (and only) pony, “Worth the Wait” in 2003 had great success with him at the local shows.  She purchased her current horse, “Master Plan” (Marshall), a thoroughbred, in July 2005, and began showing in the Children’s with him.   In November 2006, Rachel and Marshall began their training with Pam at Hillcrest Farms.   In her first show competing as a Junior with Pam as her trainer, Rachel and Marshal won the USEF Medal class and were Reserve Champion for the Large Junior Hunter Division.  Since that show, Rachel and Marshall have grown tremendously under Pam’s guidance and have had great success.  Rachel and Marshall finished 2007 in the Large Juniors (15U) as Champion in Zone 3, 9^th Nationally, 2^nd in VHSA, qualified and competed at Indoors (both Washington and Pennsylvania) and Devon, all accomplished in her first year of showing in the Juniors.  In addition, she and Marshall won the prestigious Zone 3 Tad Coffin Equitation Finals in 2007, and qualified for the VHSA and USEF Medal Finals. Rachel’s growth and success as an equestrian is largely due to the support, guidance, and encouragement she receives from Pam, Baxter and the staff at Hillcrest Farms.   Training with Pam has been an opportunity Rachel is grateful for and looks forward to continuing for many years to come.
